Women’s History Month Celebration

A great event happening a few miles from our Healdsburg in is the Women’s History Month Celebration at Charlie’s in Windsor on Wednesday March 20th. Come join guest speaker Molly MacGregor the founder of the National Women’s History Project. Forty years ago, Molly MacGregor organized the nation’s first Women’s History Day here in Sonoma County. Her idea grew into the presidentially endorsed and congressionally approved national Women’s History Month. This event is open to the public. The California Artisan Cheese Festival

Are you a lover of cheese like we are? Then this fun event happening just 20 minutes away from our Healdsburg Inn at the Santa Rosa Fairgrounds is a great option for you. This is a two day of celebration of cheese, cheese and MORE cheese. Take an artisan tour and learn from many experts at the Saturday seminars while indulging with Cheese, Bites & Booze! The Tempest

A Fine Line Film Screening, Food and Wine Reception, and Panel Q&A

Our Healdsburg Inn is happy to promote the screening of an award-winning documentary, A Fine Line, which chronicles the challenges faced by female chefs in the male-dominated culinary industry. The timely documentary explores why less than 7% of head chefs and restaurant owners are women, while addressing important issues about equality in the culinary field, and beyond. The screening will take place during Women’s History Month at MacRostie Winery and Vineyards in Healdsburg, and will honor Katina and Kyle Connaughton, owners of 3-Michelin Star restaurant Single Thread, and MacRostie Winemaker Heidi Bridenhagen. The evening will begin with a wine and hors d’oeuvres reception and conclude in a panel Q&A after the film screening. The evening will spotlight women restaurateurs, chefs, winemakers, farmers and food activists while engaging in inspiring conversations about diversity, women leadership, and making a meaningful impact.
